We’re from Houston and came to Taste of Jerusalem, and honestly, this dinner made our day! ❤️ The uncle might look a little grumpy at first 😂, but don’t let that fool you—the food and service were absolutely AWESOME! We were so happy with our meal, and everything was delicious and made our visit truly special. While we were waiting, we enjoyed the beautiful lime and fig trees, which made the experience feel even more charming and welcoming. We’re heading back to Houston tomorrow, and we’re so glad we got to enjoy this wonderful meal before leaving. Definitely a memorable stop on our trip! Highly recommend Taste of Jerusalem—we’ll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I travel for work and eat food all over the country, so I don't say this lightly. This is one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life. You will not regret stopping here. I highly recommend the lamb chops and the shrimp curry. The lamb is cooked and seasoned perfectly, with a smoky finish. Everything else is so full of flavor. The baba ghanoush is the ideal balance of creamy and texture and the jerusalem salad, well everything actually, tastes so fresh and delicious. The curry is just perfect, the bread is soft and I didn't catch the name of the guy working the counter, but he was so friendly and welcoming. The also offer a lot of candies and spices inside for sale. I will be coming back to the city a few times over the next couple of months and I can't wait to try more from Taste of Jerusalem.

I wish they were still at their old location. The man that took my order was pretty gruff. The food was delicious though, as always. Chicken and steak were both cooked perfectly. The location leaves a lot to be desired — tiny parking lot it’s impossible to get in and out of (I recommend parking at the bank or Olive Garden next door), limited outdoor seating next to a busy road, and tiny indoor space.

The ribeye kabobs were wonderful and perfectly grilled. The large prawns good as well. Rice is very tasty. The baba ghanoush is chunky and fresh. The tabouli is very lemony! I little much for my taste but traditional. The portion is large, there was also pita bread on the side. The price fits the amount and quality of the food I received. I ordered in person, took about 20 minutes. Worth it!

It's incredibly rare for me to post a negative review, but this place earned my scorn. I went here looking for a lamb shish kabob, and I ordered it to the tune of $42... I genuinely think that they gave me the leftovers from the last table. Opened the container, and it was full of rice. Crunchy rice! With lamb bones mixed into it. No lamb. And soggy pita bread. The chef must have been mad at me? This must be a mistake...? The baba ganoush had cinnamon and sugar on top. That's...a choice. (Not a good one) The tzatziki didn't have any cucumber or visible dill... So it was just plain yogurt. But those were just bad side dishes-- Worst of all: There was no visible lamb in the lamb shish kabob. Zero. Only lamb bones mixed into a pile of crunchy rice. This was probably someone's leftovers. I called the store to ask if they had mistakenly forgotten my lamb shish? I only received crunchy rice...? Perhaps they accidentally gave me yesterday's leftovers? He said, "That's how the lamb is prepared; it's mixed into the rice. If you didn't want it that way you shouldn't have ordered it." --Don't worry; I'll never order it, or anything here, ever again.
